Chris Turzo
Chris has represented many of the renewable energy sector’s top leaders on a global scale and has built the firm’s core practices from the ground up. He is an active investor in impact-driven start-ups, a trusted advisor to executives, and a passionate team builder. He founded the firm out of a deep commitment to sustainability, integrity, and mutuality—embodying his philosophy of “putting his money where his mouth is.”
Based in Santa Cruz, California, Chris is an avid surfer, skier, mountain biker, fitness enthusiast, and dancer. He leads men’s groups, practices authentic relating through “circling,” and is a lifelong student of the Enneagram. Above all, he is the devoted father of two adult daughters, Michaela and Ariela. Chris holds a BA from the University of California and an MA from Claremont Graduate University.

Laurie Smith
Laurie consults with small businesses whose work aligns with her values and vision. Her curiosity about different industries and business models, combined with her drive to expand her knowledge and her desire to make a meaningful impact, guides her decisions about which companies to engage with.
Her expertise spans recruiting, strategic planning, business development, PR/media, and writing, as well as organizational and campaign development for both nonprofit and for-profit entities. Laurie partners with clients to design and manage projects that strengthen their business models, enhance their brands, and expand their services.
She holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and studied community collaboration in natural resources at the University of Montana.
In her personal time, Laurie enjoys climbing, mountain biking, collecting art, and exploring the Western U.S. on road trips with her daughter.
